Salute to Carpentry
The Salute to Carpentry program, a key pillar of The Inspired Lumber Project, empowers veterans by combining skill development with relationship building in a fully equipped wood shop. In this 6-week workshop, veterans of all skill levels receive expert guidance, building confidence and honing their woodworking abilities through hands-on projects.
Beyond technical training, the program offers a constructive outlet for managing stress and anxiety, fostering a renewed sense of purpose and community. Participants report improved mental well-being and a deeper connection with others.
By overwhelming request by veteran graduates, we’re excited to introduce Salute to Carpentry 2.0, a next-level program for graduates who want to further develop their skills in a structured environment.
